The centre also plays a part within the wider local community, offering a Community Cafe on Wednesday mornings, 10.15 to 12 pm organised and staffed by volunteers, selling tea, coffee and cakes at a modest price. 
All the facilities of the centre are available for users, free of charge. This includes table tennis, pool etc.
We are keen for people to come along and use the cafe and are also looking for people
who will volunteer to do the occasional shift of making tea etc.
All ages are welcome, as are dog walkers, who might like to call in for sustenance at the end of their walk. There is lots of space for young children to run around, and a reasonably safe garden area at the back of the Centre. We also supply table games such as cards, dominoes etc if anyone is interested. Please come along and support this community venture, a chance for all ages to get to know each other.
All proceeds go to the Centre and we are truly grateful to the generous people who run it.
